ABOUT US
Los Angeles Nonprofit Concerned Citizens of South-Central Los Angeles (CCSCLA) is a 501(c)3 community-based nonprofit organization whose mission it is to work for social change, economic empowerment, environmental justice, social equity, educational advancement, and principled prison reform within our South Central Los Angeles community and beyond.
Additionally, CCSCLA's nonprofit mission is to assist in the development of affordable low-income housing in Southern California communities by providing technical and community-based assistance to nonprofit housing development corporations working within our South Central Los Angeles communities.

Our Los Angeles nonprofit is dedicated to fostering well-being and guiding transformative journeys within underserved communities. We strive to create an environment where individuals are acknowledged, supported, and empowered by both their fellow community members and their representative government.
Based in South Central Los Angeles, CCSCLA's nonprofit provides a focal point for direct community action and a platform for addressing harm within the South Central Los Angeles communities, with the ultimate goal of enabling all individuals to attain a sense of wholeness and well-being.

Affordable
Housing
CCSCLA Los Angeles nonprofit provides affordable housing for over 2000 families annually in the South Central Los Angeles area.
Youth Outreach &
Development
Over 3000 thousand kids from South Central LA participate in Los Angeles Nonprofit CCSCLA youth programs each year.
Environmental
Justice
CCSCLA represents our community on all legislative and policy attempts that are relevant for the protection of our community.
Economic
Development
We directly employ over 300 people with full-time and part-time jobs in the community; as well as provide training, coaching, and reentry programs.
